The Great:
This was a captivating, and not to mention, a "well-crafted" piece of Interracial Romance fiction that had loads of intense drama, snappy dialog, and characters with depth.The Not-So Great:
Slipshod Editing. By now, the author should be able to invest in a quality editor. I believe that Savannah Frierson would be an excellent choice as an editor.Giving this one: 5 stars

Because she's a unique writer that has the brilliance of Kristen Ashley, R.L. Matthews, and Charlaine Harris...My Advice....
Do yourself a favor.... Run to your computer & "1-Click" this author's books.... At this point in time, her books are seriously under-priced, and she is seriously under-rated...
The Good: This was a Captivating, and not to mention a Quick Read with Well-Developed Characters that were firmly ensconced within a Well-Crafted story. Not only did the characters have a considerable amount of depth, but the sex was uber-hawt without being overwhelming. Other than that, there were moments of laugh-out loud hilarity, along with commentary about the BDSM lifestyle that really makes you think. I liked the fact that Ms. Lopez actually got into the psychology of the BDSM lifestyle and broke it down for the average reader.
The Not-So Great:
With this story, I noticed that there were a few moments where there appeared to be some lagging in the story, and not to mention, there was the issue of originality. In my opinion, this series had a few elements that were somewhat similar to Evangeline Anderson's Brides of the Kindred series.. But, it wasn't to the point where there was an issue of plagiarism.Giving this one an A-
Since the Fall semester doesn't start until the 28th, I have plenty of time to check these out... And I am so looking forward to reading something awesome!
